        inspiration
          the idea to create a shrine came to me at the final moment when i beat the game and the ending credit movie was playing. Raine was so, so beautiful and i thought the romance she had with Laguna was short but very sweet, yet very tragic as well.

     this website was originally titled Forbidden Waters when it was first launched long ago on 17Oct'2001.
               the word "forbidden" referring to their shortlived relationship while "waters" was in regard to the odd coincidence in their names Laguna, Raine and Squall.
                      ever since then, Forbidden Waters has been the premier shrine for this couple. it also has been on offline for long periods a couple of times due to maintenance or personal reasons but i always bring it back because of memories of the game and how much I adore Laguna! also i did not want my efforts shrining to be gone to waste. plus it's always nice to receive an appreciative email every now and then about my shrine.
